Born and raised in the small town of Yarmouth, Maine, David began playing drum set at the age of 10, but his sense of rhythm was always there. Being the son of a drum shop owner, and the grandson of a jazz drummer, David has always been fascinated with the history of music, and more importantly, the history of drums. David graduated from Yarmouth High School, and is currently a student of the prolific Les Harris Jr. at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham, Maine.
